from everything ive gathered it shouldnt be to hard. cause the top is one solid piece im pretty sure, so i can base all the wing plates off of that to get the angles right. and he said that the pieces have to be cut and bent before they get shipped out, so im assuming it would be the center section that will be pre bent, so between that and the top being one piece it should be fairly simple.

If you can just get me one photo of the BACK of the bumper, it would be greatly appreciated. The write up will be pretty smooth. I have my MIG pretty much ready to go. Going to buy a fresh spool for this job. (Got a recommendation for a 130AMP welder?) and I am getting a bottle for the argon soon.

I'd go with .030" er70-s6 wire, and run straight co2 for shielding gas. You'll get a hotter Weld with co2 over argon/co2 mix gas.

ok, thanks for the info. I will look into it. Fortunately we have a gas/welding supply place that is only a 45 minute drive from the shop!

Ha its kind of funny to hear 'only 45 minutes'.... I get my gas at a welding supply store in the complex next to my shop. I could literally throw a chunk of metal from outside my shop door to theirs. haha

Where I live, the nearest WalMart is a 45 minute drive! We are super small town. Hell, the entire county is like less than 4000 residents! Not being a pest, I am just trying to plan and schedule some stuff, but what do you think would be an expected time you will have my kit shipped?

I looked around and couldn't really tell from the pics, but what's the deal with skid plates. I have a bud built that uses stock mounting holes I'm assuming I'll need to modify my skid to work with the bumper

I know how it is! I grew up in a town of 2000 people, my HS graduating class was only like 58 of us! Pretty much had to drive 45 minutes to and hour and a half to shop for anything. The nearest steel supplier there for instance was about an hour and forty five minutes drive, same with Walmart etc.
My bumper replicates the stock locations, though they raise up about an inch. Might need to shave the front lip on the BB skit to fit, and may need to shim it down a tad as well. I've never tried mounting one with BB skids though so I cant say for sure.

No worries! Just had to give ya a hard time there. Question: Can you slip a couple of small pieces of scrap steel of the same thickness? I'm talking like 2" or 3" by 2" or 3". Around that size. I am asking because I want to do several practice lap joints and butt joints, as well as end joint practice welds to refresh my skill, and get my MIG dialed in.

I can try and get some drop pieces tossed in with it (ex the winch slot pieces, face/fog hole pieces, etc)
