Sure, but this year's team isn't what it used to be. Diehard fan for sure but tempered with realism. For the record, I was saying that weeks ago so it's not a reaction to how it started off last night.

Based on how the season started, they're doing better than I realistically thought they would. They definitely had a rough start and some serious losses to overcome personnel-wise.

yeah, I gave up on them at halftime as well. I have to be up in the mornings around 5:00 to get my morning chores done before work at 7, so I didn't feel like staying up until midnight to watch was was shaping up to be a real massacre.
Silly me to lose faith in Brady. Future hall-of-famer, no matter what anybody says about him and the Pats. Not many teams could lose the bulk of their defensive line, most of their key receivers, and still keep winning games.

It's the genius of Bill. He's taken worse teams to the post season, and he'll do it again. As a Pats fan his arrival was a blessing.

That would be a pleasant, crap-a-brick surprise. I've been a Pats fan since I could walk, and I don't hold out much hope for a Superbowl this year. I'd love it if they could go, but I think they're just missing too many key players to make it through the post season.

I'd agree. As crappy as the roster is I would be happy with a decent showing in the post season.

I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
I watched the whole game. I thought about changing the channel at the half but then thought this was the one thing I was looking forward to for the day so I might as well watch it. Great second half then overtime. Couldn't believe that Belichick would give Manning a chance to win the game first. Then when we were punting the ball back to them I thought for sure that it was over but to my surprise Welker helps out the Pats once again!!! Fun game!

Made sense to me..Seyton wasn't doing a whole lot, plus deferring gave them the choice of which side of the field they wanted. I'll give it up to be able to have the wind at my back all day long, plus force Seyton to throw into the wind.

I was there, what an awesome game, after a more than polite opening. The pats really deserved to win after scoring four unanswered TD's, so I was really confident it would work out after we came back. Tom's the man, and once again, Edelman carries our passing game. That guy doesn't get half the credit he deserves. He takes hits that would kill Amendola and Welker, and still jogs back to the line. Brady also trusts him, which really says a lot. I don't think I have been that excited since the saints game. I think KT played himself into a starting spot last night too, Dobson can kiss it goodbye.
