    I found this guy in Austin selling a Warn M8000 used once taken off a hummer in what looks to be awesome shape, he wants 500$ for it cash or trade for a Baja 5B R/C buggy. Funny thing is I've been on the fence about selling 1 of my 2 Baja's to get money to buy a winch. I can get a brand new M8000 for $486 on Amazon after a mail in rebate, but then I gotta deal with selling my Baja. Should I just trade the guy? He's ready to pull the trigger.

    I guess it depends on how much you value your baja at... if a new one is cheaper it seems like a no brainer to me

    Bone stock. For now.
    For a $14 difference (plus sales tax), I'd say go for it. Two birds with one stone is worth $14 IMO.

    Thats what im thinking the baja is valued at about the same as the used winch and the 2 birds with 1 stone seems appealing

    He might but the problem with that is I will still have to pawn off my Baja to get the cash for the winch... and selling stuff like that on craigslist makes me want to punch a kitten... you know what I'm talking about "I have an xbox 360 and a bike and a skateboard and a laptop and a football bat for trade for your Baja..."

    Sounds good, I personally don't mind sitting on stuff that I don't need to sell and if it don't sell I don't worry about it. I would just make sure the winch is in new condition.

    Yea I have 2 of them actually. its the buggy, transmitter, and a few accessories/tools/etc.

    Might end up selling the other one to get money for a front bumper...

    Not a great price on the M8000 used. A new one is the same price right now. Plus, if it came off of a military humvee then its probably a 24v and wont work on a 12v system

    Now that I just about finished my home-made sliders, it's time to build a front bumper......................:rolleyes:

    And I'm already gathering material to build a rear tire carrier bumper... Geez the pile of unfinished projects!
