Hey guys!! I'm wondering if anyone out there knows where to splice in a 3rd brake light from one of the rear tail lights on a 2nd generation. I Got a softop supertop and wanted to install the LED 3rd brake light it came with. I don't want to run it from the actual existing 3rd brake light because of the length of wire. Thanks in advance!!!;)

Use a scotch lock to connect to it.

Okay but dont I need to splice into 2 wires. The Brake light has a black and white wire for it. So would it be like the green wire w/red stripe and the white wire with the black stripe on the tail light?

sorry the other wire is the ground you can tap that into the white/black wire.
The led light will only work the correct wires to ground and 12volt. My assumption is the black is probanbly ground.

for quick sidconnect purposes you can go buy a 4 flat wiring loop.
