Don't need a dude. There's already been a case where some kids tried this on some old lady. They made the mistake of A) not knocking her out and B) picking a victim that was carrying. She pulled out her gun and shot the two kids dead.

My wife told me about that one the other day. I gave the old lady a long distance high 5. Right long the lines of the guy on his bike that was assaulted by those thugs along the Thun Trail last year in Reading. Shot one dead and wounded another.

The thing about Knockout is the media is creating the spread. It has gotten to the point where I dont know if it is really spreading that fast, or if people are just talking about it more because the media is fanning the flames. Case and point, the story of the 60 year old woman who killed two of the knock out kids.

I first heard it word of mouth. Then I found it of facebook. I researched it some more, and didnt find a single news article that covered it. All I found was this:
    http://www.theepochtimes.com/n3/367...an-fatally-shot-2-teens-appears-fake/?photo=2

News these days is used too often to manipulate and create false sentiments.

Yea, I didn't bother looking into it like I normally would. I figure if no one wants to research stuff that is wildly unbelievable I'll be lazy and not look into stories that are actually believable lol.

I just got done reading an article talking about how it's a problem, but the news media is taking it WAAAAAY too far and over-reporting it, just as they do with everything else. It's better for people to be over-vigilant than under, though

I agree it is better to be over prepared than under prepared, but the media hype is creating a lot of unintended consequences, such as more people who otherwise would not have heard of knockout, will now do it since they think it is the new cool thing to do, and more people are going to be scared of being attacked by a group of thug-looking people which will end up with innocent people getting shot.

But I guess the mainstream media will do anything to feed on people's fears and make a quick buck. It just worries me.

Truth! i hate the news anymore! just like a few weeks ago when that guy started shooting at LAX, every damn news station had it airing, with rumers of 2 or 3 more people(they all ways say that 5min after they first air it) it’s hardly ever true!!! and they never air anything where someone stopped criminals with a gun. sometimes it may just air on the locals news but not allways.

I also notised the local news stations posting on FB about all the hunting seasons and what people think about them. G********** some people are stupid and narrow-minded as hell!!!

Yea I'd certainly worry about innocent people getting shot. Different situation but we had a suspicious guy around here a year or so a go. A parent had reported that this guy was trying to talk to young kids. Within a couple hours everyone was sharing the story on social media, which is fine, people obviously want to be on the look out for their kids. Problem was it included such a horrible vague description of the person which led to some innocent person just out for their evening walk getting the shit beat out of him by a parent who thought it was the guy.

Could certainly see people getting a little too trigger happy with "suspicious" looking people they may think are engaging in this knockout crap.

More big bloody holes will be blown into KOG playing yoot's and their leadership will start crying they were just trying to have fun. More ugly, bloody, screaming, video'd deaths = safer streets. They can learn from it. For the last year in Florida, attacks were way down.

:) I'll put this here so I don't sound like a mean old man that is sick of the way inner city shitbags treat other people like shit. :)

I don't even watch the news anymore. If they can get a gun-related crime on the news, it will be on there and they're going to make it sound 100 times worse than it actually is. "The assailant had a high capacity 9 round clip"...but like you said, they're not going to air the story where a thug broke into a home and the homeowner blasted the idiot because that's a pro-gun story, and as we all know, the media isn't very pro-gun...

...sorry, I'll get off my pro-gun soapbox

EDIT: Also, you'll notice that all these anti-gun folks are people who've never handled them. I have a seven year old nephew that can load, aim, and fire a .22 rifle with no problem...

And most people who get labeled as "anti-gun" really aren't anti-gun.

To me, someone who is anti-gun is someone who supports restrictions on guns, ammo, magazines, clips, etc. People who don't understand something tend to fear it. I think a lot of people out there who say they're anti-gun are the same type of people who were scared that the earth wasn't flat.
