    I pull about 17-18mpg still with the cruise set between 75-80mph on the freeway. I have 4.88 gears though, but I think I did just a hair better on the freeway before the gears. I had a tank pull almost 22 mpg doing about 55mph for the whole tank back before the gears and all my armor.

    I average about 12 mpg around town, but my foot is a tad heavy usually... haha

    Haha yea I have that problem when my 4 year old son is in the truck. "Dad when it turns green go super fast" how can you say no to that lol, but that's not too bad. I'm averaging anywhere from 17.8-19.1 so figure it to drop about .5-1.

    Plus I never drive that fast. Aerodynamics are not in our favor...plus our limit is 60

    Averaging 18 city/hwy driving mountain passes every day. Stock gears. 90# bumper. 6 spd manual V6.

    I like the 4.56's as well, even with the 285's, plenty of power. You are race truck status however

    I haven't gotten to try race truck with the new gears yet. Only have about 200 miles on them, so I'm gonna play nice during the break in period.

    TRD lift and 33’s.
    I'm getting ready to buy a set of km2s to run on my stock trd off-road wheels. They have 5.25 backspacing as far as I know. Want to widen my stance just a bit but not too much that I'll rub on everything. I'm reading 4.5 is the magic number for backspacing so I could go with a .75 wheel spacer. Anyone try these pushed out any farther with either spacers or more backspacing? I have 2.5" lift btw. Thanks!

    Atta boy, youre gonna ride around with a semi for a week after you find the first obstacle that you need all 4 turning to get over and you climb over it.

    Also, if you have a pesky neighbor you can always lock the front and use his lawn to do a u-turn, front lockers serve many purposes.

    Already have the obstacle picked out and a date scheduled. Had to winch over it last time since I couldn't even get to it, no less try to get up it. It was fun watching the OR guys have to give a few shots even.

    Either way it doesn't matter what I run or anyone else unless both our trucks are stock and mine is not.

    My truck is much heavier than a stock truck.

    Chalk test your tires for the correct PSI for YOUR truck.

    I love the added clearance. The sugar sand was the only thing I needed to "get used to". These tires dig so I had to get better at my throttle control.


    Your seriously going to get extended studs and buy spacers to have your tires stick out 3/4" further? Seems like a total waste of time and money to me, but whatever floats your boat. I'm not even close to concerned about where my tires sit as long as they don't rip my fenders off I'm happy.

    & for the 100th time in this thread - Lift has NOTHING TO DO WITH TIRE SIZE
