Yea, from the front bumper down had to be removed. Rears up front with AAL

 

Got the rear shocks mounted and the front aligned, she's ready to go

did pretty good. I def need to gear the case since I put the tires on, and a front locker would help on some of the off camber stuff. Im very pleased with it though considering it doesnt have those two crucial things. I need to redo my rear shocks, broke both of those mounts today

 

What broke? Where it mounts to the axle?

 

no, We couldnt get the low range mount to work. so we cleaned a spot on the support where the old shocks mount, and welded grade 8 bolts. they held about half the day before it finally broke. going to have to beef it up or build a cross member

Is this the shock mount that didn't work? Been lookin at options for hoerunner 2.0, wonder if it would work?

 

yeah, this is the one that I bought and I couldnt use. you have to remove the cross member that holds the gas tank

 

Hmm I see. Might just look at getting one fabbed.

 

I like the concept of it because you can adjust your shock angles. I just dont want to cut all that stuff out to run it. Fits nice between the frame rails but where it would sit on mine is right where the other cross member is. It would work perfect on a long bed

 

Alternator went out last night, so I just got the old one removed and plan on getting it put back together this week (depending on the weather)
