Mine has always seemed an inch or two shorter than it was supposed to be.

Still have been on the CL search for a replacement and never seem to catch a break.

I'm looking at being out a big chunk of cash and being stuck with a shell I can't use. No way I can wheel with this thing on, it's a couple cm from the cab at rest.

No that's for a 1st gen. Contacted that before I picked this one up.

I should have paid more attention when I picked it up, but it was night and dark, and we just pulled it off of the guys tacoma and put it on mine. The crazy thing is t-slot holes match up with the tacoma c channel.

Mystery looks to be solved, found an identical shell on a 1st Gen Tacoma.

Is there a model number or label plate anywhere? I'd be curious what the manufacturer says. The guy up at Cap City on Mercury might have some insight.

Nope, looks like the serial plate was popped off at some point.

Sup everyone. Jus wanted to finally post something and introduce myself. I'm Joe and I've been trolling here for a while and I randomly met Techoma over the summer at Farm Fresh and he told me to get on the forums. Got a 05 Double Cab Short Bed 4x4. Still a work in progress and learning about trucks.

    5100's plus rear spacer
    17" Ultra Gauntlet
    285/70/17 Toyo Open Country A/T
Black headlights with Morimoto D2S Retrofit

Just got a set of 17" Bronze Konig Six Shooters in that I'm getting mounted soon. However, I'm trying to decide if I wanna ditch my set up and go with a 6" Pro Comp and bigger wheels. Seeing other tacos around that are taller makes me want a bigger lift. Other future plans possibly CBI or All Pro Bumper, upgrade exhaust, 885's if I stick with the 5100s, and paint match plus satoshi the grill when i stop being lazy.

I'm sure I've seen some of you guys around. Been here in Va Beach for while. Pics are kinda old. Grill is back to chrome and I debadged it the other day.

Just bought one, sorry. I just need to paint mine to match my truck. I would post a pic but I'm at work and the attachment button doesn't work.

    What's the tool situation?

I've got an electric impact and 3/4 and 1/2in ratchet and 1/2 and 3/4 torque wrench.

Hmmmmmm, might have to be there for this. And I can return the buzz box. I have to see what I have going on Friday, maybe smoothing the bumper out.

Funny all this talk about swaps. I started catching the swap bug myself. Found a 3.0 deisel from a hilux on ebay for 2500 and the 2.0 for 2200 - including trans and everything else. It would be cheaper than the URD SC I wanted.
