I have no need for 3 cans. The pictured vehicle is not mine. That is a post from expeditionportal.

As for the weight, yeah, I understand. Realistically I want a dual swing out anyways. Not that it really matters. Some people, well at least one pictured in this thread, has the tire in the location I was suggesting.

Right or wrong, I feel it is just preference.

What are you looking to have done?

We certainly can make them swing either way and can put the tire wherever you'd like. We've even mounted them at an angle to have a cleaner look when installed with a topper. We can also work up a dual pivot carrier as well. Give me a call if you're interested and we'll work out the details.

Field of vision don't matter so much - you've got two side mirrors. Besides, the tailgate is 54" wide or some such. A 33" tire is, well, a big chunk of that - either way, the tire is taking up most of view out the rear.

Anyway, having it on the passenger side is a safety feature. Far better to be towards the passenger side of the car for getting at it.

Sweet. Cant wait til I can afford it.

On second thought. How awesome would it be for one of these companys to do a 3d modeling of it on our trucks that we could rotate and interact with. Swingout and other options.

no no no. like if their websites had that integrated. Similar to how you can pick the color year make model on some of the wheel websites. Then it shows on the vehicle different wheels and tires.

I was thinking he could just take his CAD drawing and put it up online using ADOBE 3D or similar...

Matt, thank you for your order!

Skygear, I think Ado...be is going to send you a bill, you just mentioned their name.... Doable sure, cool idea, sure. But it would take way too much time and money way from other projects.

However it does give me a thought that it sure would be nice to have some photos of all of the different options from the same angle. But that also truly isn't something that is feasible for me at this time.

Sorry to hear about the accident. On a bridge to add to it, that had to be a bit of a scare.

I sent you a PM with some info, feel free to reply or give me a call if you have any questions.

I don't think it looks like that when opened. Guess I have to look. Hasn't opened up on me, but, yeah it sometimes rattles a bit.

My main issue is that road mist gets into the locking pins at freezes them solid. One of these days, I need to pack the inside of those with grease to stop that from happening.

    Chris,

Please get me the new photos by email so we can help figure out what's going on with your tire carrier.

I have offered to fix Ryan's tire carrier but have not heard back from him in over a month.
