If I go with 33's they will most likely be this tire. My Duratracs [265/75/r16] are only 2.5 years old with plenty of life, so I may be a few years away from new tires...

Yeah the ST's are not the same as the ST /Maxx.

nice! these will almost certainly be my next tires! i don't feel like i can justify mud tires anymore... these tires have a stronger sidewall than the earlier cooper st, much better imo. i bet they sell a shit ton of these tires.

I hope they follow through because I have been waiting for this tire for a while and need tires. I can stretch it out a few months but it's going to be hairy when the weather changes. I don't feel comfortable wheeling in anything slippery at the moment.

I’ve thought about the ST.Maxx but I think I’m going to go with the Discoverer AT3's. I do like the ST/Maxx’s. Depending on the angle of the photos you are looking at, the ST’s look more aggressive than the ST/Maxx’s.

Harumph! I’m waffling again. Earlier I said I liked the S/T Maxx’s but was going the AT3's, but since then I’ve been able to see both tires in person, and have changed my mind for the umpteenth time. I definitely want the S/T Maxx’s and went to order them today. I’m running the stock 245/75/16's, and I wanted 265/70/16's but found out Cooper doesn’t make the S/T Maxx in that size, but they do in the AT3. So, I’m stuck with the 245/75/16's if I want to go with the S/T Maxx.

While I was there he called a buddy that works in the service dept at Toyota and he said the S/T Maxx in 265/75/16's would rub unless I put a 2-inch lift in front, and I don’t think I want to do that. Anyone else with this predicament that went with the S/T Maxx in 265/75/16's on stock wheels? How are they working?

My 265/75r16 rubbed pre lift and after not sure why they shouldn't. Maybe Kelly safari's run bigger. Maybe the same with the s/t maxx. Hell there is a guy that live next door running 285/70r17s stock. he said he had alot of rubbing at frst but it has calmed down alot.

He also mentioned that if I wanted to go with the 265/75/16's without rubbing I would need 2-inch spacers in front to give the truck another 2 inches of height in front, but also mentioned it would not be a good idea to do it on a 2011 Access Cab. Can someone tell me what these are and how they work? Are you messing with your warranty if you do this?
