    Hey TimmyB, it's no problem.

So I haven't had any issues with my shocks sliding from side to side. Those bushings sit in there really tight. I'd probably shy away from those DSMS ones for another reason. When you flex, you want to have some freedom for the shock/eyelet to keep them from binding. Those Prothane bushings might be too stiff to allow for that. Long story short, I'm happy with mine, Marlin sells them and the TTORA guys run them without issue.

Feel free to ask me any other questions you have and keep me updated as you install those 7100s... you're going to like them!

Here are some quick pics of my last wheeling trip. It was at Chinaman Gulch with the CO guys.

Nice pics, good to finally meet and run some trail with you!

Definitely a fun and challenging trail, still have some obstacles that will take perhaps a third go at to get through.

^Yeah, it was good to finally meet up. I'd be game to run that trail again... probably when there is no snow. I really want to try the hard line on the waterfall!

    Hey Silas,

If you're out there, check out these pictures. They remind me of what was going on with your johnny joints.

Under Compression, the Orbit Eye is moving pretty well.
    20131103_144239_zpse3b5d104_42dab336ea2cf35d387f231f1c74609786f0015e.jpg

Under extension, I'm not getting the movement I want. (bad picture)
    20131103_144720_zpsbf8f3207_75c98a53f870a84a8f2f9ef2ebbc8c15338cb278.jpg

Did your joints break in and start to move better as you used them? Also, like you, I am seeing that my springs are putting an outward pressure on my shackles... I noticed that you moved your spring centering pin location inward slightly. Did that free up more travel?

Per Silas' recommendation, it looks like I might move my rear shackle hangers out a bit. Hopefully, it will net me another inch or two of extension. But, before I do that, I'm going to let my orbit eyes break in a bit more. This whole system just needs to loosen up a bit...

I got my tires rotated today. In the last 5 months, I drove over 7000 miles. The tires are down to 14/32 from 17/32. Not to bad:)

Just noticed this looking at those pictures: all that lift and no BPV bracket? How are your front brakes holding up?

^I was just thinking about that today as well. So far, the brakes do fine.

I'm embarrassed to ask this... but... what does the brake proportioning bracket do, exactly?

Basically balances out your brakes. Right now the brake system thinks your already braking hard cause the ass end is so high so all the braking is going to the front.

by rasing the proptioning valve so its in the correct spot, the brake system will now know your only level thus the rears engage more.

I went without one for a long time with over 4.5'' lift out back. Was SHOCKED when i put the relocation bracket on. Helped a ton.

that said. BAMF is having a 30% sale..so would be a good time to order one..i have one. Great bracket.

^Wow. I'm sold. For $14.70 shipped to my door... that's a deal. I can't even make one for that price. (I really need a metal scrap pile) Added to my Christmas list!

Do it! HIDs are epic bright. But save yourself and just get 55w ones.

Yeah, they have an option for 35 or 55w... I'd go with the 55w version for sure!

My question is this: Do HID setups all use pretty much the same connectors and such? My current harness is supposed to be HID compatible, but I'm not sure...

Like as in hooking into the relay and such? No idea.

The connectors to the ballasts would be the ones to the relays. Post ballast will have their own connectors to hook to the bulbs.
