Those are lifting straps, completely different then wrist wraps. Wrist wraps are just that, a wrap around the wrist. Usually used by people who need help with keeping their wrist straight.

Those things are legit. Target used to sell one exactly like it. I loved that thing, but the plastic would crack around the blade from frequent usage. Appears GNC has beefed up the plastic. I throw ice in my shakes and it chops it up with ease.

Yup. It used to annoy me, but now I just take it as a compliment. "You still juicing?" Or, "How do you cycle?"

Yea. They aren't that common. Mostly only powerlifters use them, or people who have weak wrist and big egos.
Unfortunately lifting gear is the new tapout shirt. You'll see guys wrapping knees, wrist, wearing belts, and walking around with their straps hanging from their wrists all day for weight that it is not needed for.

Don't get me wrong, there is a time and place for lifting gear. Unfortunately most people get the timing wrong.

Yea, I jumped with glee when I opened the box and realized that the capacity was 1.5 times that of my old target one. For under $20, can't be beat.
