    Got the ski rack on for next weekend Dec 7. Put my wife's old board in for the photo. We are skiing saturday and sunday at northstar or sierra at tahoe. Looks like its going to snow all next week so conditions will be perfect.

    What snow report are you looking at?

    <40% chances of periodic snow and 40-50 degree weather is far from perfect conditions IMO. Predictions that far out can go either way.

    The only thing open at NS right now is upper main and pinball.

    ok maybe not perfect. but I know sierra plans on opening soon and if they get some snow next week that doesnt melt during the day. I will be good to go. My wife and I booked a night at the monte blue like 3 months ago so im going either way. If they dont get enough snow I will just have to drink and gamble.

    Edit: I know Im looking 10 days out on wheather.com but it shows Highs of 40 and lows of 12. With scattered snow showers for 3 days. Sounds good to me considering Im going no matter what and it was looking like there might be no or little snow.

    I can and have mounted this one on the roof. But it's loud on the roof. If I had more people going I would use my bed cover and put the skis in the roof. Since it's just the two of us this time. Skis in the bed and gear in the back seat.

    Sweet! I use ski tracks as well. Pretty sweet App. It's cool to see all the numbers of what you did at the end of the day.

    I went for a top speed run one day and got a fastest of 81mph :eek: I tried to go faster but that's all gravity would allow :( I tried a few times and took off all my loose clothing.

    I got some bed racks from relentless and then threw some Yakima racks on it. It's great because it also holds my hi lift. I'll take a pic later and put it up here
