I'm looking to upgrade my tires to Duratracs. Any suggestions on which shop in town has the best prices?

    Yeah.
Dobbs is the only one I have found that lists them as available online. According to the Goodyear site, only Dobbs carries them around here.

Hhhhmmm.. Auto Tire/Mr. Tire has them on their website. I'll have to give them a call and make sure carry Duratracs locally.

    Yeah.
Cool, they weren't listed on the Goodyear site. Price at Dobbs is 221, but not sure if that includes mounting and balancing (265/75/16).

    Yeah.
No prob, let me know how you like them after you drive on them a bit. I keep going back and forth, but I won't need tires for another year or so.

Thinking either Duratracs or Michelin LTX A/T 2. Depending on cash situation, may do Firestone Destination AT since they are way cheaper. The Destination LE's are doing great on my wife's 2WD 4Runner.

I bought mine online from 4 wheel parts. Cheaper than anyone around that I could find.

Does anyone know a reputable car audio place around StL besides Best Buy or Audio Express? I need help making a custom box for behind the rear seat for a Kicker L3 10" sub. I've installed audio systems in cars, but have never built a box to specifications.

Im getting a CB for Christmas and looking for a little help or direction. Does anyone happen to have a SWR meter or know of a reliable CB shop? I saw theres one in St. Charles, but the reviews are horrible online.

i have a Meter and have wired a few up and set them up. Not too hard.

I'd HIGHLY recommend the Uniden 520xlpro for a radio. VERY nice little unit.

Wire the radio directly to the battery. Don't tap into anything. Ground wire too or you'll get a dirty signal.

I know the Uniden will fit in that slot in the center console perfectly..

also have seen guys just bolt it to the sides..

My dad did a massive relocation of his Cobra 29 and extended the wires on the face plate and mounted the body under the seat with the face plate in the lowest cubby under the heater controls. Super clean.

I already have the radio. It's a cobra 29. It's older but works!

I'm thinking on the passenger side of the center console.

    What do you think?

Hey headhunter have you fixed the blower chirping on your taco? If so, what grease did you use on the bearing?

    Thanks in advance

Well I fixed it by buying a 2013 instead! However I did look into it and was just gonna buy a new motor. I think it was like $40.
