Any clue what it was from? So you are swapping because you are worried about your increased DTF? (duration til failure)

My swap would be purely for the change in fuels and low end torque. Guess I could still swap the turbo and make her have even more power. locally i would have to start paying more attention to the stations. Most do not sell diesel./

no clue yet. i do think its either from the piston/piston rings or possibly a spun bearing.

and by the time i got it down to el tacorojo's house, it was sounding like a diesel and was throwing code p0022 which is a dirty oil code. i dont think there was much till it just failed and i dont want to have the truck out somewhere and it leaves me there. once im doing puttin everything back together and finish all the other mods i have for the truck, im going to tear into the old on to see if i can find something broke. from there, ill keep the block, get it sleeved, and build a forged lower end. hopefully the heads are ok too

Trying to get my money back for the shell.

Not sure where I'm going with the build at this point.

If anyone wants the bed platform they can have it. I'll be cutting off the spare tire ears and remounting my spare under the truck. Need to step back for a minute and decide where I want to go from here.

once I get my 35"s, wanted to see what would need to be removed in order to keep the spare under the truck in a full size.

Well its a land Cruiser with a diesel so I've got that going for me.
Not going to happen. With the 255 my pumpkin hit the tire even with no rear bumper to stop my rearward positioning. 35 goes in the bed or on a swingout. Sorry to ruin your plan.
