I finally got a winch for the front of my truck!! Actually I got a pair of them. Only thing that sucks is they are hand crank do you think these will work well?

 

Hopefully. As soon as he blew past me and pushed me to the left my butt hole puckered up real tight, and I knew there was not much of anything to do but hold on for the ride. Once I came to a stop and sat for about 30 seconds I just threw it in 4wd, drove out of the median and continued on until the next exit.

Just another reminder to be extra careful, even when the lane you're in is plowed and salted.

 

Sure they will work, just get like 50 snatch blocks to gain a little mechanical advantage.

 

Unfortunate accident. Although with your post you've shed some light into yet another situation where a truck was saved by armor. I've always liked the look of wrap around protection and the idea, now I see where it comes in handy.

 

Somebody needs to jump on the Wildernest topper in the ForSale section. It won't fit my DC otherwise I'd be grabbing it.

 

No kidding! If it wasn't in CO I would be buying it. Its the only nonslide in camper I could legally used to sleep on the beach around here.

Shit..your captain spray paint..pretty sure you can figure out how to paint it yourself. Seen it done on them. Pretty easy..

 

I'm about to embark on painting the grille. Gonna be a serious masking job.
