Car cover that protects from HAIL (non-tonneau)

    Hello,

    Does anyone know of a car cover that has added protection to prevent damage from hail? I recently bought a 2010 Tacoma, double cab that will need protection from the hail in central Texas. I know of one company in Australia that makes them. Thanks in advance!

    Seriously? Never heard of such a thing... Would have to be like 4 inches of gel or foam to stop a golf ball... Those awning things probably work decently. I have never heard of it though

    I have known of people throwing a quilt or comforter over vehicles for protection at the last minute. Luckily I park in the garage at home, just hope I dont get caught at work or out somewhere. :pray: People tend to think I'm too worried about it, but my last 2 trucks got hit and my wifes car, all when they were only 1-2 years old. :mad:

    You will probably be better off with one of those temporary pop up garages.You can usually find them at Walmart or Costco or something similar.

    The Hail Protector System is remote controlled and the only solution for real hail protection for any vehicle and especially large trucks and suvs that won't go in the garage. Entirely portable.
