I have Camburg UCA's with Fox Coilovers. Just got new tires last Friday and had a local shop align my truck. Saturday (1 day later) my suspension is making noise when I hit bumps. And I can even feel it in my feet. I put my truck up on my lift yesterday and went through everything and can't find what it might be. I know I can fix it, but I can't find the problem. It honestly is scary to drive, sounds like a metal to metal sound that is not too nice. I have checked all clearances of parts and everything. Anyone have any suggestions?

Can you tell which part of the truck it's coming from?

Its coming from the front, but I can't decide which side it is coming from.

I have rebuilt my TC UCA after 60 000 miles and there were a lot of play in the unibal so based on that i think they should be changed between 40k-50k miles and more often for hard off road.

Is the noise like a clunk or more like something cracking?

Sway bar making contact with the shocks?

Sorry read your OP wrong. You got new tires not new shocks right? In that case, is there any play in your lower control arms. I've seen on here guys developing some play that will cause a clunk after new wheels, tires, alignment etc. might need new bushings.

Yes, new wheels and tires. I've had my MT kit on since July and it never made the noise with the old tires and wheels. So you think new lower control arm bushings?

Try lubing your uniballs, when my TC uca's get crap or fine dirt on top they start clunking as the suspension cycles.

You know it's hard to say as there are so many variables. It may be the issue, or the upper control arm may be. I would check if after the alignment everything is torqued properly and check to see if there is any play in the uca or lca.

This is what I thought it was. I hit some mud on a trail and right after is when it started. So I cleaned them and WD-40 them up. That's what camburg tells y to do, but after they where clean the clunking is still there.

Update- So "ONE" of the clunking sounds is definitely my uni-balls which blows my mind. They are only a couple months old with under 3000 miles of daily driving on them. But there is still something else, when I turn all the way sometimes there is a loud bang noise. I have checked for clearance on all parts and can't see what could be hitting.

here is a video of the uni-ball making the noise because of the play in it.

If you haven't figured it out, try tightening your LCA bolts. If they're not properly torqued, they can make a clunking noise. I had that happen to me once, the bolts were tight but not nearly torqued to spec. I torqued them down and the noise went away.

So I sent this video to Camburg, they said they were looking into it but a week later I have heard nothing.... I went ahead and bought new sway bar bushing because it caused a lot of people to have noise up front it seemed. Just last night I found stuff about the LCA bolt either being seized or loose. I am going to put my truck on the lift today and check the lower control arms and maybe ever ditch the sway bar completely for a bit to try and narrow down the problem. Super frustrating!!!!

Update- I got the sway bar off and drove the truck around. It seemed to take away a lot of the creeking, but I still do get a pop. I inspected the LCA bolts and one is like completely rusted out. Thniking I need to suck it up and do new bushings and bolts, basically rebuild the LCA's. New problem, After I put it down on the floor off the lift the truck leans to the left almost a full 2 inches!!! What the hell? Thinking I should throw in the towel and take the truck somewhere. I have always done all my own work but I might e getting in over my head.

I think it's got to be either loose LCA bolts or loose shock bolts.
