From what I read, Homer correct me, stated it might not be cost effective to offer them after all the time put into them, plus the cost of the materials. Then there was something mentioned about possibly offering them for any of the HCRB since that is what he had access to on his vehicle.

4.25 is perfect IMO to keep you off the UCA. You'll still be all over the frame, but no biggie.

Me too. Lots of RTV to seal it all up. Nice and dry now.

    The ball is rolling!

My friend will be done cutting the fenders today! :woot:
    Then I need to
    - Bend Pinch weld
    - Beat Firewall,
    - Check my CMC

Post Holidays I will swap my UCA. Once I do that I will actually leave the 35's on.

With my fenders cut I can measure my rear quarter panels and get a rear high clearance bumper ordered. Which is going to take 3 months to ship.

As soon as I get my truck pictures will be coming in!

stock sort wheels with spidertrax. stock sport wheels are 7.5'' wide. makes the tire a tad bit narrower, which helps clear the uca, but also makes it a little taller, which hurts fenderwell and cab mount clearance. with the spidertrax, they have an effective backspacing of 4.25''. no uca rubbage with light racing.

I didn't trim, just hammered to clear mine. if anyone's requires trimming, it may be worth it to just cut out a section and weld a new piece in, recessed further back.

Well I hit the firewall with sledge hammer. Then completely cut flat the pinch weld instead of folding it over. Then there was like 1 hair line crack that's been haunting me every time it rains

you tried welding the crack or using a true seam sealer instead of silicon/rtv?

It's JB welded now and super glued on the inside. lol covered with a layer of flex seal. Then the inside now has sound deadening going up that high so I don't think it will leak. I'm letting it dry and will test in Friday

My wheels are 16x8 / 4.25" backspace. No UCA rub, not even close. LR UCAs at +2 caster for a total of 3.3 caster and I didn't rub frame at full lock either side. However, I decided to try the +1 setting and max out OEM caster. Got around 3 caster, but started rubbing frame at full lock. Gonna go back to original setting soon.

Did you all put relief cuts in the pinch weld? Any advice?
