alex, if you do a retrofit on the projectors do not get them from ebay or something... this is definitely something you will want to go first class on or just stay home. contact the retrofits source, believe they still be a vendor on here but if not pretty sure the website is just like TRS or something. I know they do group buys on here all the time.

and Allen, its jsut the red headed stepchild. just dont put that bolt back in when you reinstall it to make for an easier reinstall and to think ahead in the future, it doesnt hurt anything at all to run without the hidden bolt. That is how my truck is now and how my 08 was after i did the bhlm... in fact most all of the guys running a bhlm or projectors on a 2nd gen leave the hidden bolts out.

That's what I figured. I, like a dumbass, put it back in before, just strictly because I have a perfectionist attitude and want everything to be right. Glad to know that it doesn't necessarily "have" to be in there.

At least you know where it is this time. I don't remember it being that hard to get to, you just have to find it by feeling though.

Don't forget you have a Satoshi coming your way! From the talk, I assume your truck is in B'ham, so is that where you will want the grill to end up?

Alright, so by popular demand, I am looking to perform my standard 4x4 maintainance on December 8th instead of the 7th.

Currently Stoney Lonesome is the expected location, but may change depending on who is planning to attend and the general concensus.

Let me know if you think you will join.

I'll go on both dates. Alex, maybe we can go to the slab instead of a park.

So I finally got around to ordering and installing my superbrightleds for my map and dome lights. I ordered a couple different colors (red and cool blue) just to have a few different variations. Anyway the color and brightness difference is incredible. Definitely a must do mod for anyone. I ended up with 6 map light bulbs and 3 dome light bulbs all for right at $40. Anyway, I took some pics during my install. Sorry for the crappy quality, Galaxy Nexus isn't really known for its awesome camera:fenforcer:

And finally, what I ended up going with for the time being. Cool Blue map lights with Red dome light[IMG]
