Severe Weather thread.

Well my 12-18 inches turned into a dusting.

 

Mine is rain right now
Can't tell you how pissed I am

 

I hear ya. Weather people had me excited and everyone else running to the store for milk and TP. Lame.

 

Lol, I just want some decent snow for 4x4 burnouts and snow drifting through my local abandoned parking lot

 

Your meteorologists sound as good as ours. Never fails, we get the opposite of what they say. Then they won't predict anything and we will wake up to a 1'!!
Ended up with maybe 5" better than nothing for Thanksgiving i guess.

 

Yeah, I get how hard it is to predict. For most things I don't listen to them past a couple days. And in fairness, this storm was tracking straight for me. If it would of kept its course, I'd be enjoying a foot of snow. Oh well. That would be the best job to have though. You'd never really have to be right about anything. Can you imagine having a job that you can be wrong A LOT and still have a job?!

Atleast we have the rest of the winter to look forward too. Since its thanksgiving, I'm thankful for that.

 

sounds like ours as well! they can’t even predict rain have the time....

but some times when they say we will get a dusting we will get like 3 or 4”, and thats down in the valley.

yesterday they said we would get 1 to 2” and we got almost 1”.

I would love the snow they get! Lol. I have a cabin up north, I can get my epic snow fix up there if I have to. Get hit with a lot of lake effect from Erie.

but, so far, we are having a really sally winter (i know it's not techically winter yet) again... i'm mad

Yea, I'm with you on that. Winter hasn't really started yet. I've been in Oregon this week and Seattle last week. Headed home to a little cooler weather.



I hear there's about 16" of new snow on the ground. I hope I can get in my taco to my shovel to dig out!

We're supposed to get 3-6" tomorrow, I'm not getting my hopes up till it happens though.

 

It's severely warm here. 63* tonight and should be 30*.

 

Yeah I'm sure the cold is comming your way. It was 62* when I left to work this morning but had dropped to about 40 by 3:00.

Been warm here all day, but rained all day. So couldn't really enjoy it. Just issued a winter weather advisory here for tomorrow for freezing rain to sleet to snow. Only 1-3" though. Lame.

 

It's pretty chilly for Vegas, and snow for Saturday.
