Looking good. In a year or so when upgrade everything I'm considering the tx wheels. Leaning toward sending them to OMF.

Well its a land Cruiser with a diesel so I've got that going for me.
So I'm trying to prepare to install some dirtyfives...I am running FJ Trail Teams Rims with 4.5bs. Everything I am seeing says they won't work and I will need a small spacer. Seems like some folks are running 1.25 spidertrax but I was looking at going with the smallest spacer I can to take the stress off the hubs a bit. Bora has a .75 which will bring my BS down to 3.75...

Thoughts and thanks for the help.

Would you say that 1.25 was enough or could I make due with the .75?

Thanks and I love your RC!

I have deduced that 4bs is then bare minimum but will still rub frame. Going with less means more firewall cmc based on reading every page of this thread and everyone's build threads like a stalker.

1.25 Spidertrax on the front and 1" Bora on the rear, looking at the 1" spacers I think you would have to trim your studs to use a .75 spacer.

.25 is not worth the guess game. Gonna pull the trigger on some 1.25s.

Also I read your whole build and am super jealous. Yours made me take the dive to 35s. Thanks.

Anyone got pics of the rear wheel being flexed in? I need to see how much room i have, with my bumper and all, without trimming done.

I have a practicality question for anyone who deems themselves an 'expert' - My search for some acceptable Bead Locks is running short due to me being picky.

In the next 2 weeks I will pull the gun on some 35"s finally. Looking at the MTR-K - thats what I feel I need. Now I have run into an issue of MONEY vs practicality.

For overland use, beaches, mountain back roads, snow and other similar surfaces.

Would Keeping a 20" wheel make a diffrence? Or going smaller wheel a must?

Reason I ask is this. Between a 20" vs a 16"/17" there is ~$100 difference per tire.

For me to purchase new WHEELS, they will cost ~$250 each or so.

My 5 star wheels have beed serving as step ladders when I need to get on the roof from the side.

Been reading on lots of other truck forums. Most of them have 20"ers as the stock wheel and just go with off road tires.
