You would be better off with bilstein 5100 shocks all around for that price

My front coil springs are shot so with bisteins I would need to buy either eibauchs or new OEM coils and then I would have to buy other hardware (my truck has 200k miles)and then mess with a coil spring compressor. I just want to know if these coilovers are good quality for the price.

I live fairly close to fat bobs. I don't trust them, in the slightest.

Why does everyone jump on bilsteins dick when it comes to suspension?

I think it'd be worth it to try them out and see for yourself how they fare. I had the option of spending money on billies that everyone swears by, or to try a diff suspension that there was NO information on tw about and im pretty darn happy about it.

They are tried and proven to perform beyond their price point. Not much risk in doing the Bilsteins. OP is looking for some feedback probably because he doesn't want to risk his hard earned money on unknown suspension :notsure:.

I understand that bilsteins are about the best bang for your buck but I really don't want to mess with a spring compressor. I just wish I could get more feedback on the fat bobs coil covers. I guess I will just have to buy them and give it a shot.

Stick with toytec, but ditch the spacer. Toytec is a great lift company

There is ways around not using a spring compressor. Or take them to a shop and for about 50 they will assemble it for you.

There are a couple youtube vids on cjanging struts on a tacoma with out one.

If no one can tell me that they have tried these coilovers and they suck ass then I guess I will be tw's test dummy on them. I will wait a few days for anymore input then make my decision from there. If I do try them I will be sure to make a thread and rate them for you guys.
