Yes, we'll do fiberglass as well. He'll need to cover up those big meats some kinda way.

Thanks Man but Dan and I aren't the only ones on this build now. Ray is getting his hands dirty which is good because he'll know how it went together which is always good and we have a new welder. Augustine is doing the welding job. His good and fits with the RST team very well.

It depends on a ton of factors. What axles you use, what shocks you use, which joints you use. Whether or not your going to go hydro assist.

But just to give you an example, the RockJock 60 set up like this with 5.38 reverse cut gears, big brakes, 35 spline axle's, ARB Air Locker, 1 ton knuckles, full width setup (70" wide) etc, is about $7,800.00 after it's built. Then you've got links, joints, hardware, coilovers, brackets, steering stuff, new cross members, frame plating, brake lines, ARB Compressor and labor and your easily into the 20k area. Can it be done cheaper? Of course it can. You do all the labor, buy junk yard parts and build it up yourself. Buy used parts from the interweb and so on.
Is it worth it? Depends on your perspective. For me it most certainly was. I can go just about anywhere I want to go and not have to worry about breaking stuff and I can still use it to take my wife to a nice night out on the town. It's fun to watch the valets fight to park it, then they just leave it up front anyway. :D

Got more stuff done on Rays SAS. Got two tires mounted on the beadlocks. 40" Kevlar MTR's.

    DSC02850Copy_zps0a0477ac_808d962e6b7c6103f33673dccec0d82c7dbbc43f.jpg

Then got the top link bracket tacked on the frame as well as the top link mount on the axle. Also got all the weld on washers done too. I'll have more pictures of it later today. We were running out of time and I wanted to get the wheels on and the links mounted as well. Did that and finished around 5:45pm Got dark as we were installing the top link. so couldn't get any more pictures. I'll take some when I get home tonight.

More work done on Ray's Taco. Flexing it out to see how everything fits. Perfect!!! ;)

We got to flex it out to see if we needed to move anything or if my math was right. Turns out I must have done pretty good in arethmatic because we were dead nuts on. I know, I can't spell though.... lol

Shock fully compressed. We'll bump stop it before it gets to this point but we just wanted to see how we did and it clears everything. Cats, oil pan, frame, everything.
