They don't have them pre made. Especially the way I do it. I do them gourmet.

 

True, I like to do mine with shredded mozzarella cheese, 1 shrimp and then wrap it in bacon.

 

You should check out kingsoopers. They have them pre made, they are good too. I live in the springs near downtown if you want to hangout some time. But I got to warn you I'm ex army, so I can be cranky.

 

I just want to wish everyone a happy thanksgiving, and while some of you are out on the trails tomorrow I will be sleeping then putting on my 4xinovations front skid plate.

I heard Peterson was a nightmare so I went to Ft Carson. Always great walking around 300 Soldiers in Marine cammies. There selection there was great and well stocked for 1200 on thanksgiving eve.

 

We went to Walmart for everything. The base was a mess yesterday. But then again Walmart sucked too.

 

I smoked a turkey breast in the smoker and then fried another one in my turkey fryer. Pretty yummy bird and the side dishes the rest of the family made were awesome too.

 

Nice!! We made way too much food. But my family and friends get the left overs. Back on the program tomorrow.

 

I hear ya man. I tried to give away as much as food as possible today and keep our leftovers to a minimum and I ate about half as much today as I normally would on Thanksgiving. It was not easy though with so much good food.

I also dropped over $60 on turkey breasts this year. I wanted two so I could smoke one and fry the other so we bought a couple frozen breasts a month ago and threw them in the freezer. I took them out of the freezer on Monday and put them in the fridge to thaw and I was amazed when I got up at 6:00am to start cooking to find two still-frozen turkey breasts in my fridge... one still solid. Some crazy ass exceptions to thermal dynamics going on in that fridge or something. I called around early and was fortunate enough to find a store that still had a couple fresh (not frozen, obviously) turkey breasts. The day was saved!

 

Pretty good for dorm cooking with no kitchen

 

That could have been bad! I always make too much good but this year we had the party at my buddies house because I'm technically homeless. So he gets to keep all the left overs!!
