I see. I was mainly just wondering about durability. Our dog used to chew when he was younger and destroyed the zipper on his current bed and the inside falls out sometimes, but he doesn't chew much anymore. I'm mainly worried about future pups and wanting to make sure it would last with them as well. I plan on getting a GSD within a couple years :D

my husky prefers lying on the cold tile, tried a bed for her but she wasn't having it. for the GSD, we bought one from tractor supply for about $10 and he loves it. Seems pretty durable for the price.

I was about to buy one of those for my dag since he'll chew through anything thats his and has padding.

But then last night I was talking to my mom about it and she just happens to have (what seems like) thick heavy fabric left over from something she made, so she's gonna make my pup a bed out of the fabric and stuff it with an old wool blanket that lived in the closet. Triple stitch with heavy thread so it'll be pretty similar to the carhartt (can't remove the innards tho) so hopefully the pup will just lay on it instead of destroy it.

    Fantastic photo^^

    Awesome dude! Shepherds ftw

I took this pic a few years ago. Long before I had a tacoma. I was stuck in my 86 sas pickup and hopped out to take a few pics and Beau was looking all regal. Happens to be a tacoma parked down there too. We got 2 feet of snow the last few days and another 8ish inches dropped on this day. That was the last big snow we had. Hope we get that this year.

Anyway, beau loved it! I really want to get another shepherd :|

Shepherds all over the place tonight. Good looking pup! Does he (or she) have any black? Or is he just solid white?

My guy recently passed the new "Community Canine" AKC Test

Every dog that goes to a great home is a win. So glad it didn't turn the other direction.

Me too!! He actually failed the adoption test threw the SCPA and the rescue picked him up before they put him down. He is overall a great dog, but is really territorial of his house. He is also really protective especially when I am not around with my 3 year old boy and wife. I guess that is good though.
