My remote start is the "Teenager" brand. With a "Teenager" remote start, no cutting and splicing is required. No alterations are made to the vehicle at all. Using smart (well, usually) technology, you can communicate directly with voice commands to your "Teenager" starter, which will start your vehicle in any weather. Manual transmission? No problem for the "Teenager!" It will engage your clutch, put you in neutral, and lock the parking brake. The Teenager is also programmable so that your favorite heating and cooling settings can be dialed in, waiting on you. Have a favorite radio station? Just tell the "Teenager", and it'll be playing your favorite music when your car is warm and the windshield cleared of ice and snow.

Get a "Teenager" today for years of effortless remote starting in any conditions! Available nationwide.

    Happy Thanksgiving, TW! :D :hungry:

Got one (Excalibur RS-350) in my 2001 manual trans. Worked great for the past year.
Had it installed. Definitely not a plug n play install.

Now, you didn't ask, but in all seriousness, I would never do this unless there were an OEM system you could install. I've had two trucks that had to have the ignition systems pretty much replaced ($$), one due to an aftermarket alarm, the other due to an aftermarket remote start. Both were put in by professional shops by the original owner of the trucks, both quit working after about 3 years, both were freakin' nightmares to diagnose once the inevitable started happening. Finally had to just gut the old cut and soldered and patched systems and replace. (Well, I didn't - I don't do electronics...)

I would never do this in a vehicle I took seriously offroad, and certainly not in one I took WAY off road. Day wheeling with friends maybe, I guess. They're tits on a cold morning, but I'd never be able to trust it.

Not true, I installed one for a customer in a 2002 F-150 8 years ago...saw him a couple weeks ago still works like a champ...it was an inline plug and play system that I cannot recall now.

The "TEENAGER" brand would never work today......inevitably something would go wrong!

I don't even see how its possible to plug in play... Unless you had a factory one installed
