Tomorrow, I will proceed with the install of my 885x on 90000 up front, TC UCAs with the shock tower gussets, and the dakars at the rear. Extended brake lines at all 4 corners are also part of the game plan.

I spent the rest of my afternoon spraying the bolts/nuts to make them easier to remove. Hope it won't turn into a butchery like when I helped a friend on his 1st gen 03 taco . Turned out nice after all .

 

One word of advice after doing my UCAs this afternoon. Cut the bolts. Best $30 I ever spent.

 

I would like to, but I will be lacking parts. too late to get to the dealership and order them, guess I'll bent the inner fenders .

 

Im gonna go ahead and just get them then.......Im getting my lift installed soon and don't feel like regretting not having them.

Where did you snag them from if ya don't mind? I need to get the rear lift components as well. Im confused if I need shims, center pins, etc. I just want to go to toytec and get it all at one time.

 

This is what I've done, got the shims, the CB drop and the swaybar relocate kit at the same time. Worst case if I don't use one of them, I will try to sell them.

 

I know I heard somewhere you need longer center pins too? Or do they come with the shims? And what degree shim? toytec has like 4 dif kinds I think. Thanks I think I will just get all of them too and worst cast try to sell em on here if I don't need em.

 

my 3 degree shims came with new center pins. make sure you buy a kit for your application, block lift requires a different type of shims. However I can't tell much more about block lifts, as I am going with dakars.

 

I am getting dakars as well. No half assing with 3" blocks.

Cool thanks for the help.....So CB drop, Sway relocate, 3 degree shims, and a ubolt filp kit(just cuz I want it). Sound about right with the dakars?

 

Ya Im gonna just do front for now with LR ucas. My rear with tsb leafs is already 1.5" higher so im gonna do 1" blocks temporarily and do dakars and shocks later.

My bud that owns a shop did it , but I was head fender folder

 

But for the hassle and time saved, I'd cut the bolts every time. It really was quick.

If you're up in the air on it, get the bolts local. Start the job and then decide once you're actually looking at it. If you bend the fender just return the bolts. If you cut the bolts you have the extras on hand to get it done.

 

I don't have a dealership local to me and honestly it wasn't too hard to get the bolts out but whatever

Couldn't really tell we had done anything , we used a rag in the jaws of some water pump pliers , just be aware there are some rigid lines behind there , fuel lines IIRC
