Oh, mine has rubber?

 

New, it's a $800 winch. Just needs a $83 motor and $35 in other assorted random parts and Ill have a great winch for penny's on the dollar. Spent an hour cleaning and inspecting the synthetic line today and 2hrs breaking the winch down to parts and testing the solenoids. New line is $260 so I'm lucky it's just the motor, some gaskets, a paint job, and some grease it needs.


Nah... To early for me. I'm heading to a neighbors for some beers around a campfire at 9 and will need to sleep in + No fluid in my rear, ARB air holes wide open, rear tires are off, and my axle isn't connected.

Take it off. I have mine in my tool box sitting right on top of the orange offroad base.

Damn, that mount looks good, but it's $72. Close to 2/3 of the price of the actual jack. Motivates me to fab my own bracket.


And thanks to you NJ guys for making me spend money today. Just bought the jack as a Christmas gift to myself.

 

I don't feel like typing that much. Kevin built some nice stuff and I am glad Adam is keeping it going with the same quality.

 

I think he's talking about a HiLift.... Is that what you are saying people keep in the back seats?

 

Ya, I'm talking about the hi lift. I will find a way to put it in the bed. I'd hate to see the kind of damage a hi lift would do to people if it came loose in the cab during a roll or impact.

 

FWIW I've had ATO mounts on my bed since they first came out years ago. Never once had them loosen up or give me any issues besides a little rust from throwing stuff into my bed that scratched them up. Got broadsided by a BMW so hard it pushed my rear end over a couple feet....mounts held. I'd consider them pretty strong. If saftey is key they are worth it.

 

Thanks, I plan to put the 60" in the bed. Just have to make or purchase a mount for it.


Do you guys use yours to change tires on the road as well?

 

I want a hi lift there is just nowhere to put it on the 4r and i dont want a roof rack or rear bumper for 2k

 

I took my OE Jack out years ago. It won't reach anymore. Hi lift is all I use. With front/rear steel bumpers its much quicker.
