What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

Changed out my winch line for synthetic and a new fairlead.

 

Played around a bit with a fellow TW member...........2nd gen

Is that a block under the dakars or is that just picture angle? If it is a block what size? And do you notice any axle wrap?

 

It's an axle relocation plate.

 

I still have to do this. Not sure why the Dakars pull the front axle forward like they do.

 

Oh I see, I missed that part. I'll probably need to do the same once I add the d6xl AAL. I have dakars with 1.5" shackles and the axle sits slightly off center

I have been thinking of making a relocation plate for my Dakars. How much does it move them back?

 

I need to do the relocation plates still......

 

Has two holes, 1 for 3/4" 1 for 1"

The relo plates are definitely needed. I was destroying the front of my fender flares. Not too much of a pita to install.
Putting in the AAL sucked! Trying to line all the leafs up. I'm glad it's done and over with!

Now my rear tire sits center in the well and I have some rake again. I should of ordered the AAL originally with the Dakar pack.

 

well its back in the shop for misfiring issues
