Not within the past 48 hours, but last weekend. We went out of town and while we were there, we went to walmart. They had 22 in and my parents bought 3 boxes of 100 each. And when we got back in town, our walmart had 22 as well. So I bought 3 boxes of 100 and my parents bought 3 each also. Got a call from my girlfriend's mom who is the assistant manager at the first walmart we were at and she got us 3 more boxes of 100. It was a mix of winchester super X and remington yellow jacket. Winchester was $8.37 per box of 100 and remington was $9.67 a box of 100. We got 1800 rounds of 22 in one day. Walmart is cool sometimes

I got 6 boxes of Remington .40 S&W hollow points and a 20 lb. box of .22LR hollow points (probably around 4000 rounds) from a friend for $100.

Could also be the difference between the bullet weight (length).
I might expect a lighter round to have a shorter acceptable OAL, it would still maintain adequate combustion chamber space.

These are 200gr, and even that 1.22 looks too short. Might be good on a 185.

    What's a decent price?
I've got lots of CCI minimag 36gr (100 round boxes), but I won't let it go for what you paid for it in 1972 lol.

Midway has the 1400 rd bucket for $60, but you have to wait a month for it. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/62...grain-plated-lead-hollow-point-bucket-of-1400

This place has the mexican .22, it seems to shoot ok. http://ammofast.com/products/aguila...-high-velocity-superextra-22lr-38gn-5000-case

Depends how much you want to sell them for. They cost more out west for some reason and are cheaper here in the east. How many boxes? Like how much for 5 boxes shipped?

I'd do 5 boxes for $125 shipped, but just because you're a KTM dude. They are not cheap out here by any means, if you can get them cheap let me know!

EDIT: Looks like Gander mt has it for $7.99 a box, but I don't know if they limit it or not. http://www.gandermountain.com/modpe...-32-Gr-Stinger-CPHP&i=413545&r=view&from=grid

 That's like $0.25 a shot! Lol. I know people would pay that, but not me. I know, shipping is killer, but I can buy a box of 100 here locally for around $9 a box at walmart. Only 3 at a time though… lol. But thanks for the offer. I highly recommend checking walmart whenever you're there. Ask because some walmarts keep it hidden or in the back where no one can see it. Walmart is the absolute lowest price I have seen for 22 yet. Just hard to get. And I just made an order from gander mountain that had CCI standards for $4.99 for a box of 50. Not the best price, but decent.

Oh I do. I hit up walmart, bimart, the lumber yard, the gun store, the hardware store, yardsales....that's how I end up with so much of it. I do order online, just seems like lately it's not worth it on shipping the small amounts they let you get. I burn up a brick a week if the weather is nice...

Yard sales… Genius. Never thought of that. I have best of luck with walmart and MAYBE I'll find a deal that is okay online. The one from gander mountain is the only good deal I've found on the internet for good ammo so far. It was free shipping, but there is a $9 fee for ordering ammo. So $9 shipping pretty much.. Still wasn't a really bad deal. Probably paid a little much, but to find good 22 ammo online for an okay price is convincing enough for me. That bucket is nice, but a month is a while. lol

Oh yard sales are the best. If you see any gun stuff at all hit them up for ammo. It's amazing how many people have a stash but have no idea what the current market is and will sell it cheap. Especially the old ladies after grandpa kicked the bucket. My buddy scored 1000 rounds of factory .357, a bunch of brass, dies, and a reloader for under $100 the other day. Nuts.

They do have a 1-year warranty, then a lifetime service policy kicks in. Both only cover defects, so I'm not sure exactly what the deal is. At the end of the day, S&W has great Customer service & will take care of you.

Unless the $30 was for some gunsmithing service/agreement between you and your gun store, you got screwed and that's shady stuff.

    From the manual:

Smith & Wesson’s Lifetime Service Policy begins after the warranty

period has expired. Smith & Wesson will repair, without

charge, for the lifetime of the original owner, any Smith &

Wesson handgun purchased on or after February 1, 1989, and

any M&P15 series rifle, that is found to have a defect in material

or workmanship. Eligibility for this Lifetime Service Policy

requires returning the Product Registration Card within 30 days

of purchase. The Lifetime Service Policy covers functional

defects; it does not include the firearm’s finish, grips, magazines

or sights. The Lifetime Service Policy is in addition to and not an

extension of the Smith & Wesson Warranty.

Thanks, yeah I just read the same thing after some research. This is a highly rated online store and sounds like they cover the same thing but also pay for shipping. Here's their policy.

Looks like I will have to give them a call and cancel.
