I'd wait too but, those lights drive me nuts even when another car passes me and has one on so it'd have to be fixed whatever it was if it was mine. Sounds like your issued may be resolved...

Yeah snagging a "normal weekend day" in your off days would be nice. I changed my "every other week day off" from Wed to Sat when my wife went to Sat/Sun off. Then her days off got changed back to Sun/Mon. Still works though.

We don't have the option to float a day unless one of my higher time co-workers will trade. Still it's not something one can count on. I've never asked to day trade or swap.

I don't mind nights. I could be on a different shift but, still have shitty days off but, right now anyway, this works best for me. Too much shit to do during the day that's not work related that otherwise would not get done. My schedule lets me be home by 7a on Monday and not back in until 8p on Thursday.

I had to request the schedule change...but I am the "high time co-worker" now. But then, we're down to two of us in a four man office.

I've got leaf springs and shackles that need to be installed. And some new shocks and my bumper should be in next week. But I have absolutely no time to get any of it installed... :(

Yea, it depends on how much you sleep. I stay up all day Monday and Thursday and only sleep about 5 hours a day the others so it works for me. Some cats I work with sleep all the time so it sucks for them.

Nope. I work with imagery stuff. Simplest way of saying what I do without going into too much detail.

My sleep is a series of 2 to 4 hour naps. I generally sleep a couple hours in the morning, get up and do whatever needs doing for 3 to 5 hours, then sleep another 3 to 4 hours before getting up for work. If I didn't get up in the middle of day here in Winter, I'd never see daylight. Try to sleep nights on days off, but usually end up awake a couple hours around 1AM...and if nothing's going on during the day I catch an afternoon nap. ;)
Generally speaking, when I feel like taking a nap, I do. Goes along with this "grumpy old man" persona I'm working on.

I get the "grumpy old man" I'd be one too if I couldn't sleep. I switch to night sleep on my days off. Work days it's 1p to 6 or 6:15p for me unless I have something to do in the afternoon then it's mornings that week.

 That's crazy! I've done some crazy shift work, but nothing near that. And yeah, I always hated swings ... too wound up to go to sleep when you get home, sleep into late morning or noon, then before you can do anything it's time to go back to work.

Worst schedule I've ever worked was two 12 hr days followed by two 12 hr nights, then two days off (effectively 1 day 'cuz you sleep most of the first day), and repeat.
