    On thanksgiving day I installed after market keyless entry system Audiovox aa-925 with the write up by Turp.


    Yesterday I purchased front tube bumper from acordova1050 I installed it yesterday. Looks wierd as I have small tires and no lift I'm all stock. Today I cut out corner lights from stock valance and zip tied to bumper and just below headlights what do you guys think?

    Oh. hmm... maybe I should take them up even more. I torqued them to spec when I first installed them and they slipped. This time I torqued them to 120 (I thought that was spec) and they slipped. They are at 150 ft lbs. now.

    I did the same thing on a recent install, torqued to 120, then went back over the instructions and found it to be 150. I had to go look at my old sheet to verify my sanity. Then when they went from 4 to 2 washers each side, I had a WTF moment cuz I put 4 on one side, then realized there weren't any washers left. So when I read the instructions, it showed only 2 each side. Sooner or later they will finally get their design right and quit changing stuff around.

    Finally got around tochanging the transfer case oil for the first time @ 78k:eek: with Valvoline 75-90 synthetic. One ofthe easiest maintenance items I've done on a Tacoma. Then made room in the garage to park inside over the winter months.

    So far, I've installed three different designs of theirs. I liked the second one the best, with 4 washers each side. I figured I read it the first time, why read again.
