Unless you're a prohibited possessor, why would you want a baton or a knife over a gun?

I'll get in trouble if I get pulled over with a gun or knife. I just keep a hammer handy on the left side of the drivers seat.images_6e6e17848d7fe79dd67eaf07e3ea3c468bf87119.jpg

Great stuff everyone. Good ideas. Anyone ever been in a situation with their truck where they needed/used a weapon?

I say "besides a gun" because I haven't convinced the wifey to carry one yet.

Forgot about the guys behind enemy lines! :p

I always have either a Glock 26 or 29 along for the ride, and an AR if I'm hitting some of the trails down south.

A 1911 (on my person most of the time).

J frame S&W 38 in the glove box, always there.

As of late a underfolder AK47 in a discrete carry bag behind the seat.
(not so much for self defense, but some impromptu shooting on the farm when the fancy strikes me)

Good quality LED light and a tactical folder.

Lord knows I love living in a FREE state!

Blackjack. Either beavertail or convoy. Guaranteed lights out (sometimes for good) if you smack someone in the dome above the ear. Leather, lead and spring back function to multiply your force and ruin someone's day before they ruin yours.

So far neither have I and heaven knows I pray it stays that way, but that is not the point.

I do not carry a weapon because I have needed it, I carry a weapon because I might need it.

That is like saying you carry a spare tire today because you once had a flat in 1979, the spare you have today is not for the flat tire back then, it is for the one you might have tomorrow.

Seriously still don't understand the melee weapons , I mean the premise is you are in your truck and someone attacks you right ?

So , you would rather grab your mace / club / axe / pick thing and hop out to use it , or just drive off ?

I almost forgot about these guys, they ride in the truck with me fairly often.
