Pop ann lock " finally"

Fyi - i just got a call that the new pop and lock for my 2009 tacoma arrived. I'm having it installed thursday morning.:d

 

Yeah I can't wait to get mine. A lock should have been standard on our trucks

where did you buy it?

 

I was told by my dealer's parts guy last Friday that my PL5300 should be in this Tuesday or Wednesday. He said the order was one of 20 shipped out so far with a backlog of 500.

 

I live in Pa. I got it from the same person who put my tonneau cover on. I can give you the info if you want.

 

I got mine but did not install yet. The camera is on the drivers side of the pop and lock and the passenger side from the factory. Hope the camera wires have enough slack to switch sides.

Anyone try this yet?

Someone in toyotanation posted pics, from my understanding there are some clips which hold in place the wire for the back-up camera, he removed them so he could have the extra slack for placing the camera in the drivers side.

where did you get yours?
