Oh wait. The PRO runs on the same battery. Is it only the comp m4 that runs on AA?

primary arms has their micro dot with riser for like 60 bucks and its a sweet sight.

 

Can that riser be removed? I may pick that up for my ak.

Looks like they are machined by Seekins so it should be a decent rail, I guess we will see in a week when it comes in.

 

Heres my Smith and Wesson M&P 15 Sport with MagPul on it.

Shoots great never really had any issues with it. clean it about every other trip(depends on how dusty/windy it is)

Only thing I don't like about it is the Lack of dust cover.

 

Dust cover should be a non issue for a range gun/plinker. Worst case is you pull the bcd out and lube it up. If you are worried about it, you could always swap out the upper receiver for around 80 bucks

 

Yeah its just a range shooter. Thats why it does not bother me too much.

 

Grabbed one of the PSA lowers and LPK for $80 on Friday. Looking forward to my first build!

to swap a float guard, you need to put the upper in a vice and do things I don't know how to do, right?

I'm assuming, by looking at the one on our new one. Wanna swap it out for one with more rail

I would at the very least, ask to watch as he does it. that way YOU know YOUR firearm inside and out.

I do not fire something unless I know how it works or how to clean it field strip it.
