I have a second vehicle so it won't be a problem with the truck being parked. I just need to decide which kit

Easiest way is to simply use high-temp enamel to paint the cutoff fence.
The paint reflects off of the bowl and colors the lens.

Some have played with LED, but heat is a problem, and blue or red can get you into trouble with the cops.

So I just need to paint the cut off fence that would pull down for high beams?

It is a suggestion. especially if you are going to be reassembling the same weekend.
The paint needs to be flash-cured prior to being resealed or the solvents can fog the housing.

Ya I was going to let them cure for about a day unless I jacked the paint up.

I'd go two weeks if you don't flash them... especially if it is cold.

    Same as baking them open.
Preheat the oven, put the painted parts inside for a bit, good to go.
The BHLM thread gives the specifics on time and temp.

Here's my cut off when the ballasts are working lol. I'm on Trs' waiting list for the revised ballasts.

Passenger side could be straighter but not enough for me to re open the headlight and reseal.

Not bad for my first retro I think :D

    Looks pretty good.

They are rotated just a hair clockwise... the low cutoff on the right should line up with the low cutoff on the left, so you should see something more like (can't draw the top cutoff, but picture a line above the slashes extending to the right on the screen.
The area between the slashes will be slightly dimmer because it is hit by the high cutoff only from the left projector.

    _________/_________/

With your rotation, you'll be throwing some light up into oncoming traffic. It doesn't look too bad, but keep an eye open for people flashing you.

Like I mentioned,I am aware the passenger side could b rotated a little more counter clockwise but so far no flashes from the oncoming drivers.. If I do get any, I figured I would lower that side a little bit and if that doesn't work, I'm more than ready to reopen and re seal. It's not too bad once you've done it before

Yours is exactly how my focus retrofit came out. Passenger side is off likes yours just enough to annoy me, but not enough to rip it apart.

    The tacoma came out perfect
