Try owning a dirt scooter, a taco, a duramax, and a gun safe full of hungry black rifles. FML. I just did 4" exhaust and EFI LIVE flash on the Dmax tonight, should be around 480 HP to the wheels, over 900 ft lbs of torque. Just built the trans on it to support the power...and just ordered new uniballs for the taco and got a bunch of ammo. I'm tapped out! Next paycheck will be taco tires... unless something else breaks.

They do shoot well. The mags they come with are usually not so bueno, but the good thing about any 1911 is good parts are everywhere. As for glass fenders the AllPro ones seem pretty popular. Glassworks are great, but shitty customer service and long wait times unless you can drive to their shop. (socal)

allpro just makes front fenders right?

As for the 1911, my buddy has a Wilson combat mag hes going to give me and I think I am going to buy some Tripp Research magazines

EDIT: Trailer Products makes the fenders for all-pro (and all-pro doesn't sell them anymore)

I thought they did but just looked at the site and didn't see them anymore. ???

Nah, it's my wife's rig. She did the build on it, picked out all the parts, even helped turn wrenches. If it was mine I'd solid axle it, but it does great how it is and is super reliable. Cognito 7-9" drop bracket, fox's all around, deavers in the rear rolling on BMF 20's with Nitto trail grapplers (35's).

Feel like such a dingus.. Couldn't resist. Shit I had my phone shut off all day..

Found an old spike camp; just climbed into my rack. Light rain, hoping it'll turn into snow - but don't think it will. Only one stuck today; about 2 foot drift..

Wind and then some real winter weather for Monday. Think I'll be out tomorrow night, too.

Just off Colockum road, about 10 miles east of tarpiscan ridge..

He'll be ok. Might get a couple inches of snow, but temps will be a balmy 30F.

I need a PIC if going that route, solo canopy moving is a dangerous sport.

We're out.. I'm almost to Belljngham. We're going to stay tonight, but it was too shitty to be enjoyable.

Was gusting to about 50+ on Tarpiscan this morning.. Insanity! Found some snow, have a pretty cool video. Might head back later in the year, it's just at that weird transition where there is a crappy mix of snow and wet. It was actually really nice to the Southeast at higher elevations, but the snowmobile grooming had already started, and we didn't want to get trapped with that cold weather coming for tomorrow.

Made a judgement call, and headed out.

Saw/chatted with (Beavis76??) on the cb as I was parked in the traffic for the pass.

    Thanks for the concern..

I hear that, but I heard Tripp Research mags are among the best, and I don't really like doing the "norm" when it comes to guns, so I'm going to check them out.

I have a coworker that has a big collection of 1911s; and has tried all kinds of mags. Wilson combat are the best and most reliable.

That was a good idea. This afternoon it is going to dump heavy wet snow. The snow will continue through wednesday then single digit cold sets in, might even get below zero up there.

Yeah the wind was honking up there. There's a possibility I might go back once the snow builds up.

Good WX radio coverage throughout the entire area.. Think I was listening to the 162.550 machine?
