    just making a cover for it to be a little safer for the kid, and soon to be kids, to play around. right before my first daughter trned 2, she faceplanted into my parents fireplae hearth and we she had to get 10 stitches on the corner of her eye so im a little paranoid about injuries. I'm covering the frame with 1/2" plywood then gluing some closed cell foam onto the plywood and covering that with whatever fabric my wife picks.
