    And before anyone rants back at me for advocating longer times between belt changes here.. I not saying that it's always good to wait till there's some obvious wear on it, just that you CAN without worry of it suddenly breaking or something. Personally I like to wait till it's either chirping badly or showing obvious wear signs but that's mostly cuz I don't like spending money prematurely :p

    I just replaced mine, at 149K miles, because the old one "looked" like it was wearing with small dryrot cracks. With those miles on it was piece of mind as I can't ask for more than 150k miles from it. I bought an OEM replacement and the mechanic charged me $43 and change to put it on, this was part of a lot of work I had done recently. I have had the coolant flushed once and drained and filled once, both at 75K miles.

    I guess $43 isn't terrible if you just want someone to do it but for reference, here's a link to a dayco you can buy from advance auto for the 2nd gen 4.0 engines and it's only $32.99 so about $34 after tax...
