Hi, I've searched many threads, but can't seem to find an answer to this. I want the front of my truck to be lifted about 1.5'' to 1.75''. I plan on using bilstein 5100 front struts, but wanted new coils as well. I understand that at the 0 setting, the bills will lift the front 2.5" with OME 885s - my question is that if I use OME 884s or eibach coils, what setting should I use to I get my desired lift in the front?

    Thanks,
    Matt T.

I'll probably just end up asking wheeleroffroad their opinion then post it here for others to see.

Either 883s or eibachs. I think the eibachs toytec pairs with 5100s are stiffer.

Not sure on 884's I know the 885's you get 1.6" w/ the billies set at 0

Are you wanting to lift the front or level it with the rear? If you are wanting to lift it I would recommend 885's and billies set at .85. That will get you close to the 1.5". Measure from the middle of your hub cap to the fender then do the same for the rear. That will give you the difference in height from front to rear. If your rear is 1" higher then 885's w/ billies set at .85 will be good. If you go any higher than that you might need new UCA's

885s will yield about 2.5"-3" on a second gen. Your thinking about eibachs.

    885's with 5100's at .85?

The 885's give 2.5" by themselves...

I'd try the eibechs with billies at 0. I think the eibechs give about 1.5"

    TRD lift and 33’s.
Eibach's with 5100s set at zero should give you 1.6" of lift, and 883s should give you 1.5".

The billys will give you the option of 0", .85", 1.75", or 2.5"

885's will be around 2.5" with the billys at 0". you are not suppose to preload the OME coils.

With the eibachs you can set your billys to the .85 setting and be fine, you will be just over the 2" mark with that.

    The OME's for the 2nd gen truck are 883, 884, 885, and 886
I would not reccomend the 883's though as they only have a spring rate of 590lbs

    I got 2" with 884s with bilstein and i'm a prerunner. Since you're a 4x4, you'll be under that.

883s, 884s and 885s all have a spring rate of about 590lbs. They are just different lengths by increments of 10mm. 886s have a spring rate of about 620lbs IIRC

I just put in 5100's set at 0 with OME 885's with no spacers except for the 1/4" plate on the drivers side for the taco lean. After I drove a little to make them settle, I measured from half hub to fender and got 23 1/2" on driver side and 24" on passenger side. I also put 5100's on the back and used my airbags to level the truck with the front. The ride is amazing. better than with the factory bilsteins. By the way I have the Off-Road double cab short bed.

884s will do the trick. wheelers will tell you that 885's will put you up in new uca territory. very happy with my 884s on access cab. if I were double cab, I would be looking more at 885s. my billsteins are set at zero.

How much approximate lift did you get? Like 2 inches?
