Just got back in town and caught up on your progress. Truck looks mean bro. Saw the tool set you picked up, very nice. Did you get the valve body and all that done?

    Thanks dude!!

Yeah couldn't pass up on that Craftsman kit. Needed to replace my 10 year old Craftsman set. Lol

No not yet, that's this Saturday in Tucson.

    All that's left is:

    Valvebody
    Sliders
Have AFR sensor bung welded in
    Install gauges
    Install white gauge cluster
    Fix leafs
    Fix fenders
    Misc TLC stuff

That craftsman set is legit man. Got one myself. Ditched the tool box though, it was garbage.

Gotchya. Are you doing the valve body install yourself? It's nice to see the list getting smaller. Funny though how a new one will pop up...because the list is never empty.

I like the box actually. Granted, its the only tool box I have. Lol

Another member and myself will be doing it. Its going from his truck to mine, and he's done the install before. Should be quick and easy.

    So...

what should I do for my leafs? They are flat as shit. The two stock leafs are the problem. The icon pack is flat as well but im pretty sure its from the two other leafs. Was gonna go by Dunbar Spring and see about a rearch. Or have them make some custom leafs to replace my 2 stock ones. I dont want anymore lift, and I want to keep the icon pack. so maybe just 2 beefier leafs above the icon pack plus a rearch?

Or just go to a junk yard and pull some stockers. What you just explained sounded like too much leg work. AP standard pack would really solve all your problems and keep you at your current ride height.

But I want to keep my icon pack. Its 3 leafs for 1.5" of lift. I just need to figure it what to do with the two stock leafs.. I can easily swap in another set of stock ones, but the same thing will probably happen to them down the road. Which is why Im thinking of custom leafs.

Custom leafs will wear out the same as stockers. You'll just pay more.

Yep! I've got the Wheelers 3 leaf 1.5" and OMD leaf mod. The 3 leaf itself left some lacking but the OMD chevy leaf in there picks everything back up!

You think so? was gonna have a stiffer custom set made.

Maybe ill just swap another stock set in and see how it goes. That plus a rearch maybe.

Oh yeah? Were you havin sagging issues as well with the toyota leafs and 3 leave pack?

That one chevy leaf really helps? Still at the same lift height? Ride quality?

Yea it was still sagging a bit even with the 3 leaf. The Chevy leaf on mine replaces the 2nd Toyota leaf and is from a 3/4 ton chevy. You could probably get away with a 1/2 ton. It's a bit stiff but I like it. I can get in the bed and jump around and it doesn't move much (220lbs). I can get measurements, but it sits nicely compared to the front, OME 886 and Nitrochargers all around.

Dammit people. Lol. I dont need or want a whole new leaf pack. Haha

I have my less than a year old icon pack im going to keep.. I JUST need to figure out the two Toyota leafs. So, either rearch, replace with another two stock leafs, or custom leaf with one factory leaf(chevy leaf)

I dont want anymore lift either.

    No... cuz 'Merica!

Just picked up Jon's (Scarlet4x4) leaf packs. Gonna make something work between his and mine tomorrow. Might use his stock Toyota leaf, his aal for added stiffness, and my icon pack. We will see what combo works best tomorrow!
