Anyone do a spindle lift?

yeah I know...its all over grown and full of trees by now though..probably not a good 4wd place

Was thinking of going with headstrongs 2wd 4" bundle lift.
Can i put a aal on dakars?

yes for the aal, I have it in mine. not too bad to install either, just need some big c-clamps.

 

What u think about goin the spindle route?

 

for 2wd applications I guess it works ok. it's pretty much extending the link to the UCA so you won't need to replace them.

I kinda see it as more work though, as you have to take apart the entire hub to move everything over and have to to spend up to $100 or more on consumables(dust caps, o-ring, seals,etc)

 

Ok i guess, better to buy new seals an whatever odds an ends that would need transfering. Damn iguess ill throw that lift out. Good to no ahead of time tho.

if you get the spindles, i'll be more than happy to liberate your oem ones

 

I ask about the aal cuz i bought brand used oem leaf pack an revtek aal's from WaialuaTaco. Havnt had time to install yet. But was thinking since i had it, aal's, id throw it on the truck to.

Go for it brother.. I'll give you a hand.. I had to swap out one of my spindles.. Takes time, but not hard at all. (especially on a 2x).

I thought you were going Trail??? lol.. Or are you just gonna make it a trail (minus the kdss)

 

X2^^^2wd is way easier.

 

Nah, wife wanted the leather. It is 4wd tho. Phil wants the trail.
