Tuesday as in next Tuesday.

 

So who is getting ready for the snow this week?
I have my emergency cold bag packed and in the truck, CB antenna is on and I'm putting 240 lbs of sand bags in the bed. Anyone think I missed anything?

Big ass knife?

 

That's in my other bag I take when I go on the trails, along with ammo for whatever gun I'm taking with me. I'm only packing for the trip from the Springs to Lakewood, and then around there the rest of the week till Friday after school when I come back down here.
But to pick just one of my big knives is so damn hard to do, it's like picking your fave child.

 

What are you worried about. You drive a Tacoma.

I know, but last year on my way to the VA I spun out on the highway. I was doing 40 in 2 high and did 3 360s. It was fun but I was in 4 wheel drive the rest of the way after that.

 

Yeah that would make you pucker up! I hear ya. I always pack water and something to eat.

I love the awd button in my runner.

 

That's funny because I always have a big-ass knife in my truck. Need to get my winter part of my emergency stuff into the truck.

 

You got the knife you're good. I'll take a photo of all the knives in my runner tomorrow. I have some in there I forget about haha.

 

what? No cold weather here. I'm in tucson for another week or so since school is out. It was like 80 today. Almost had to turn on the A/C.....

But since I have access to my parents garage, I started working on a new bed basket today

 

Chains for the tires or maybe some TREDS in case you get stuck? Oh wait it's just 3 to 6 inches.

 

I leave a -20 sleeping bag in my wife's car. A few bottles of water and some snacks. But I don't worry about that Subaru getting stuck very often either in the areas she has to drive.

I have chains, but not incase I get stuck. I have a winch for that.

 

You guys see the squirrel I killed while boarding up at Alyeska yesterday? He ran in front of me, doubled back so I ran his ass over. Tried to clear over him but I ended up wiping out haha. I at least moved him off the slope
