I'm planning on a Christmas tree run on the weekend of Dec 7th-8th, not sure which day just yet... If anyone is interested, we could turn it into a Tacomaworld meet and make an event out of it. I'm crossing my fingers for some fresh snow over the next week to make the wheeling aspect of the trip a little more exciting because last weeks snow was no good. Planning to head back out HWY 2 to FS 6830 Tonga Ridge area like last weekend or Johnson Ridge area which is the same area as Tonga, just on the north side of HWY 2 instead of south. Its up FS6520 and FS6522... over the last few years I've found that I 90 is pretty picked over for christmas trees in the legal cutting areas, unless you park and hike off the road a bit. I spotted a couple good ones last weekend during the meet right off the road. Tree permits are available at the ranger stations, or REI downtown. They're $10-15 for up to a 12' tree if I remember correctly. Let me know if anyone has any interest and I'll put together a more formal event post.

No the sway bar was not touching coils. I took out the half inch spacer, and all is good. Still a little nose high with the 2" aal. Should settle perfect.

this might sound like a stupid question, but did you take it off the stands and then see if its still touching?

Yes I dropped the entire vehicle. It actually wedged between the coils some how. But all good now. Tires and alignment tomorrow.

I am going to a gun show at the Monroe fairgrounds on that Saturday, followed by a company Christmas party at the office, not far from the gun show. Anybody that wants to go to the gun show with me is welcome.

I might be able to find time on the Sunday however. As long as the snow doesn't get too bad, my truck can make it through a bit, but I have a chainsaw to make cutting down trees a little faster and easier. I would prefer to ride along with somebody else if I go.

Does anyone have a set of Rigid D2s? I am considering getting a set partly because I heard they plug right into the OEM fog light harness. Has anyone around here tried it?

Yeah it comes with two battery packs. One for 6 AA and one for 8 AA rechargeable. They both seem to eat up the batteries after one outing.

Okay Jose, I'm a nice guy so I went back to price check.

    20/rd. 5.56 = $8.99+
    20/rd. .308 = $16.99+
    No 22LR

Just FYI, one of the straps on one of my QuikFists broke, so I called EndRoad (where I ordered them) and they are sending me a new one. No questions asked.

Great customer service, and I recommend them to anyone who wants QuikFists.
