yeah... i'm strongly considering picking up a new 2nd gen this coming summer... of course i have the build mostly planned out in my head already lol... and what you have going on so far with your truck is pretty much exactly what i had in mind

and yeah, the dude that bought big red goes to pismo pretty often so you'll prob see my old truck around every now and then

    HAHA boom!

;) Thanks man! I'm sure soon it won't be so "custom" when Anthony (DTFtacoma) starts pumping these out for all the '12-'14 guys haha, PM him for details!

For me it was a (people) space issue. While I miss my 1st gen to death, but having space for people and more interior space in general was what pushed me to a 2nd gen. There are a few gripes I have with the 2nd gens, but not enough for me to regret getting out of the 1st gen.

I know you're an Icon guy(like me), but I would definitely keep ADS in mind if you ever decide to dive into a 2nd gen build. (M C M) Matt would be the guy to deal with. They're not as "proud" price wise like King or Icon, but the quality is 2nd to none. Like I said on a previous reply to someone in this thread, they ride like a much more dialed Icon. Their valving is more on the digressive end. Plus, they can make the shocks to ANY specs you want...my rear ADS shocks are custom spec'd for my SUA. They just need your desired extended/collapsed/end-to-end specs.

I wonder how it would look if the tube work was powdercoated white to match body color? Otherwise silver seems great.

    I thought about it!

I think it would be too much white though haha

So far looks like black is winning big time on the poll

I'm really liking the new front tubes, I saw it posted somewhere else. What color do you plan on finishing it in?
