    It's still pretty deep. But alo why I'm just trading straight across. And for 600 for 35s on wheels that fit...I think it's a good deal. Now if it costs me 200 to get then it stops being a good deal.

    Whelp, that was an expensive weekend, got me a 3in OME kit with dakars from DSM for a great deal. Now I need new wheels...:rolleyes:

    Pelfrey HC rear ships on the 15th!! Stoked to see the transformation go down soon. Also got the mixing valve in for my OBHS so Ill be finishing that install this week. Looks like the truck will be ready for next season! So stoked right now!

    Anybody in the area do an OME install on a 2nd gen. Looks to be pretty easy, just worried about not getting everything aligned properly (axle shims) in the end. I've got Beer and a full shop to work in though if anyone has some good advice;)

    Also keep in mine you can adjust the caster forward to help clear the firewall.

    not sure, forgot to look. has to be at like 3. i bolted one up and it cleared the control arm by a good amount.

    Lift has nothing to do with clearing wheels... Well unless you go to a drop bracket lift like Konsta anyway. Whether you are at factory ride height or have a 3" lift the tire still stuffs and droops out to the same spot (assuming the shocks allow it to travel that far).

    For example:

    Around a 3.5" lift or so

    Either way my tire still reaches the same spots when you cycle the suspension. Ride height only affects rubbing when you are driving around town so lift works great for Mall Crawlers. Real Crawlers have to resort to cutting and only add lift to clear rocks.
