Just in case I'm being reverse stalked...

To my recipient, part of your gift is coming to me today and the other part should be here later this week then I'll be shipping out ASAP. I apologize if it's late but I'm going to do my best to make sure it's not late. Regardless, it'll be worth the wait. :D

I was going to just have them mailed straight to my recipient but I wanted to have a little fun with the packaging this year. Trying to make up for last year when I didn't have the time or money to do anything special.

lol, I'm just bitter and cynical. I had to exchange one of my gifts so I went to the post office to ship it back to Oregon. I used the self-service kiosk to figure out the shipping cost. It cost $2.07, so I threw 5 stamps on it ($2.30) and went to the counter to make sure I got a receipt & tracking #.

The guy was like, "Okay, only $3.30 more in postage and we're good to go!". I said it only costs $2.07, and he pointed to the Address label that I put on there, saying if I use the labels they provide it HAS to ship Priority. I asked if he had a blank label to use, and he said "Ha, not for free". So, I went to black-out the Priority words with my Sharpie, and he said "That won't work". So I ripped off the label, and re-wrote the addy. on the box itself.

Then he asked if I want tracking, and I said yes. He said I needed $0.90 more for tracking, and I pointed to the sign on the counter that explains that tracking and $50 insurance is now included on every item at no addtl. cost. He said that doesn't apply to First-Class...

I was sick of this guy's shit, so I declined the tracking. Then, he puts a tracking sticker on the box, and prints my receipt with the tracking # on it. I asked him why is the tracking number on here if I didn't pay for it. He said tracking is still included, but I am not able to use it...What...The...Fuck!!!

That is why hate the post-office. :D

Normally I would just say F'it and pay out of pocket to use FedEx/UPS, but I "inherited" about $500 worth of stamps from my dead G-Ma, so I use them for everything I ship now. The people in line hate me and my stamps.
