    Put on new tires today Goodyear All Terrain Adv 265/70/17, One more thing to do and that is a 1" block in the rear to level it out. Do I have to realign after putting the rear blocks in.

    Looks good! I mentioned it earlier, I would go with an AAL before a block. They're a little more expensive but way better/safer. I'll stop mentioning it going forward :)

    You shouldn't need an alignment if you are only changing the rear suspension. Front suspension throws more stuff out of whack.

    If I add the AAL now I will have 5 leafs and won't that really stiffen it up. I'm trying not to stiffen it up to much, do most of my driving on hard roads.

    It's more effective to buy a set of cheap winter tires which are already heavily siped by design.

    From the reviews I've seen, when new the tires are sturdy. Over time (after, say, 3 years) the Kevlar layers begin to delaminate and cause the sidewalls to fail.

    I have never added sipping to any of my tires. I usually buy tires that are sipped by design though.

    A lot of people here just have two sets and run studs in the winter. I never have. ATs and 4wd all the way!

    My old Nitto Terra Grapplers and my new Duratracs both come with sipping.
