Haha, you know me man - anything to save some cash. They were really cool about it, I didn't expect they would warranty it.

Got my radio finally, got plans this weekend?

Thanks!! Good prices -- wonder what the deal is with .22? Glad I laid in before -- but can never have enough...patience!!

They rarely have 22LR in stock. That was the most ammo I have seen them have in-stock at one time. They had almost any flavor of handgun/small caliber in stock (9mm, .40, .45, .357) so that's why I took the picture.

Wanna shoot for Sunday, if you get the coax? Sandy wants to do a "Date Day" Saturday, and I have no clue what that means, so I don't want to commit to anything else.

What do you plan on doing with it?

I'm buying RG58U with an NMO mount for a VHF radio. Getting it from Whisler Communications.

It's for my cb. I have a Firestik Firering that I believe the plug crapped out. I couldn't get the antenna to cal properly.

You can get it from Whisler, but they are only open 8 - 5 weekdays.

Hey guys, I need your help with mounting locations for my LED bar.

    Options -

1: Drill holes in lower part of bumper to mount (more protected but have to drill more holes and could have an issue with mounting winch once I get one)

2: Mount to existing holes in brushguard (a little vision is blocked, only utilizes 2 of 4 mounting location and looks a little odd)

3: Try to make mount bar for OEM roof rack (prefered location but my roof rack set up keeps changing for now)

Definitely not on top of the center hoop.
Do you not have that much room on the underside of that lower bumper portion?
Maybe just hang on to it (easier said than done, I know :D) until you figure out your roof rack situation since that seems to be your #1 choice, followed by just above the winch as #2 and then well you know how I feel about #3 on top of the center hoop lol

I like how this looks and would likely throw a decent spread at that height:
    IMG_20131204_113423_556_zps0e0c36cc_1953577e5453e37500a237a59bbab17e6760ec6a.jpg

Is there enough room to mount on the underside of the top tabs, or is it too wide? Like in your pic, but underneath the center hoop?
    IMG_20131204_113656_353_zpse158141d_9a90537a4c16c56c632e7ebc26710a345aa23438.jpg

There are little angled gussets in the center of that gap that sit about 1/4" from the face of the bumper, so the light bar wouldn't be recessed in there and it would stick out a good 2".

Unfortunately the virticle supports from the bumper are 30" apart and my bar is 32" so I can' put it under. I am working on a roof mount at the moment. Nothing too distructive but I am hoping that this will work.

Got it Ben, didn't realize there were gussets under there.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you & your roof mount to work

Yeah, I was kind of disappointed since that would be an ideal area for a light bar. You could potentially mount a couple 6" on each side, or (1) 10" in the middle if it's not too tall.
